Our Mission

No Gray Areas' (NGA)  mission is to provide love , support, and opportunities  to young women and girls at critical decision-making points of life through academic , social, and athletic opportunities. We want to create and facilitate a safe space, financial opportunities,  activities and events that add a benefit to the community.

Why Do We Do This?

NGA was founded by Reshanda Gray as a means to create opportunities for young women in underprivileged communities. Growing up in South Central, LA, where drugs, gang violence, sex work and senseless killings became a norm, after school programs were a safe haven. These programs allowed her to find positive role models who saw her potential to be bigger than her environment. Having these resources changed the trajectory of Reshanda’s life and through NGA her goal is to assist in doing the same for others, by filling the opportunity gap in the lives of your women.

What Inspires Us?

Founded  in 2017, No Gray Areas (NGA) is focused on making a meaningful difference in the lives of young women and girls who are based in underprivileged communities. Within these communities are people who have the mental fortitude and capability to be successful in many ventures, however due to their circumstances the opportunity to pursue passions is often times limited.

NGA works to close the opportunity gaps and lighten some burdens by offering scholarships and community enrichment events. Being able to provide a safe haven and launching pad for young women to excel. The best part of No Gray Areas is that we are always learning and growing to identify those areas where the community lacks help and support. While NGA is headquartered in California, we work with girls all around the nation and in other countries. This our way of making a Global impact for all young women. By creating a sisterhood, helping them come together to share life experiences and learn how to support each other

Scholarship & Mentoring

NGA offers financial scholarships to young women and girls on a need basis for various opportunities. Academic. Social. Athlete. “A.S.A” is a mentoring program designed for student athletes. Being a student athlete, the emphasis needs to be on the student before the athlete, if you are not successful as a student there will be no opportunities as an athlete. Off the court is where you develop the skills necessary to be a productive person, through your social interactions you develop your key communication skills and build essential elements of being apart of the community. Finally, as an athlete you have to have the determination to work hard and bring your A-Game to be successful in you sport.
